  1. Has a very strange buckle that gets in the way. My daughter complains about every time she gets in the car. We sent this back for Graco.

  2. We purchase this seat for our 4 yo son. The tightening buckle in the front was appealing, but it is way to hard to use. It doesn’t give slack evenly. And changing the straps positions as the child grows is almost impossible. Very difficult. My son is very capable of getting in and buckling himself, but hates this car seat. We have had it for 1 year and are now looking for another for him.

  3. I bought this car seat for my 3 year old. She loves the look of the car seat. The buckle system is different from the many other car seats I’ve used (I have 7 children), and a little awkward. The mechanism for loosening or tightening the harness is not as easy to use as a lot of other car seats I’ve used. The pad that is supposed to make the seat more comfortable shifts and my daughter took it off because it was always bunched up. For the price, it seems like a good buy. If you are picky, spend more.

  4. The title highlights the good points about this chair. My son would also like to add that he is as comfortable in this chair as other 5pt harness car seats that he has had to ride in.

One start is deducted from the rating because the design has two minor annoyance.
The chest buckle is more difficult to clip/unclip than other chairs I have come across. Also, by having the tension adjustment buckle near the chest, it limits how far the chest clip can be moved out (which means my child needs to remove his winter coat in order to fit. . a problem in the northern/colder climates).

Since I don’t have regrets about getting it, and my wife hasn’t complained, then I would say it was a good product that got our $$ with due to the reasonable price.

  5. We really like this carseat for our 2 yr old daughter. She loves her big girl chair, and the snack holder with it. I have found no problems with it, but I am also not extremely picky, and I don’t find the straps that bad. They are very easy as a matter of fact.
